About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Wildlife Technician with a background in home construction to join our pest and wildlife control team and play a key role in helping us deliver on our promise: “Wildlife removed. Damage repaired. Peace of mind restored.”
This role involves humanely removing and excluding wildlife from residential and commercial properties while ensuring structural repairs and preventative measures are properly implemented. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in construction, understands building structures, and is comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
Requirements
Inspect homes and buildings to identify wildlife entry points, damage, and nesting areas
Safely and humanely remove nuisance wildlife (e.g., raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, skunks) using industry-approved methods
Perform exclusion work, including sealing entry points, installing wildlife barriers, and repairing structural damage
Conduct home repairs, such as roof patching, soffit and fascia replacement, chimney capping, and foundation sealing
Set and monitor traps as needed, following all local regulations and ethical guidelines
Educate customers on long-term wildlife prevention strategies and recommend additional services
Work at heights, on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas as necessary
Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings with customers and the office team
Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines while performing fieldwork
Experience in home construction, roofing, carpentry, or general contracting is required
Previous wildlife or pest control experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Ability to safely use power tools and hand tools for exclusion and repair work
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as a team and problem-solve in the field
Strong customer service and communication skills
